Proverbs
This game consists of a set of six familiar sayings or proverbs, cut into fragments.
The point of the activity is to reassemble the fragments into complete proverbs. This is made easy by the large legible type and the use of colour.

Each set comes in a reusable transparent plastic envelope with velcro closure and contains:

I developed this game during the years I worked in a nursing home with people with dementia. Despite cognitive losses, many individuals were still able to remember these familiar sayings and gained much pleasure from this activity.

The beauty of this tool lies in its simplicity and versatility. The activity can be graded from a complex task of seeking out the proverbs from a pile of fragments, to simply sitting around a table together remembering and discussing the sayings.

The set includes detailed instructions for different gradated applications and tips for creative variations. Also available in Dutch.
